Mobile TV Elite - watch tv on your mobile phone

TV for Mobile - Mobile TV Elite software is the best selling cell phone TV software available in the market. But what does this software actually let the end user do?  How easy is it REALLY to watch tv from your mobile phone or mobile device? 

Mobile TV Elite is actually a software application, with a program guide and broadcast channels, that let's you use your mobile device like a television set.  It allows you to watch more than 100- channels, including NBC, FOX News, ESPN & TLC right on your phone - which I think sounds pretty cool considering that I cannot always be in front of my TV to watch a hockey game, and with mobile tv on my cell phone, I can watch the game live and not worry about anyone spoiling the outcome for me.

The electronic programming guide is fairly easy to use, and shows you what's on, what's about to air and what's available for purchase, just like the TV at home.

Unlike your cable or satellite bill, though, there is no subscription pay and no bills to get - you pay a onetime fee, download the software, and you are good to go.

I am curious to find out, though, if this software will work on tablet pcs like the iPad or the Stream TV eLocity A7 (with the name, you would think it would!).  At this point, it is looking like the answer to that question is no, but with the ever increasing popularity of the tablet computer, I would think that the ability to use this software on those platforms will be available shortly.

This software works with the iPod platform, but no news yet as to whether it is going to be compatible with the android systems, and a boon to that would mean absolute portability.  After all, that is the aim of this software, correct?  To allow people to watch tv wherever they go – so in my estimation, limiting this software to only a cellular phone platform would hurt the overall popularity of the program, and consumers WILL demand more and more from upcoming releases. 

In addition, phones are not getting larger, they are getting smaller, so screen size in going to have some effect on this.  Watching television on a 2 inch screen is not going to be nearly as much fun as using it on even a 7 inch screen like the eLocity A7 provides, or the larger screens of the iPads.
